Since opening in 2008, we've had the privilege of hosting hundreds of hunters from across North America and Europe. While many have enjoyed successful harvests, others have experienced the reality of hunting—sometimes, despite everyone's best efforts, success simply isn't in the cards.
We believe that while we can't control every variable in the woods, we can control the experience we provide. That's why we focus on the things that matter most: clean accommodations, home-cooked meals, knowledgeable guides, and genuine hospitality. For many of our guests, the friendships, memories, and overall experience are just as rewarding as harvesting an animal—and a successful hunt is simply the cherry on top.

I hunted with Wild North Outfitters for several years. it is definitely a 5 star outfit. Nick goes out of his way to do everything he can to get you a bear. He always asks clients to go with him to help bait, check cameras, etc. His guides are extremely helpful and know the vast area you will be hunting. The cooking is first class with with 3 fantastic meals a day. if your thinking about a hunt in Canada, book a hunt with Nick ASAP

We had a successful week filled with bears, memories, and stories that will last a lifetime for me, my sons, and son in law. Your outfit is very professional and is top notch. I know you, your family, Rick, and Jimmy put a lot of work into making it a good experience for everyone. Sleeping quarters and lodge were very clean tidy. We will definitely be returning in hopes of adding more to our book of experiences.

I have hunted spring bear 4 times with Wild North Outfitters (Nick). I have shot three bears and passed on one because head shots are not something I would ever choose to take. There are always lots of bears about and some hunters chose to wait while others shoot in less than a minute. The blinds have comfortable swivel chairs in pop up blinds all around 50 yards from the bait. The food was beyond excellent and my only complaint was that I
gained a bit of weight over a week. Next spring I will be back to hunt again.

I have hunted and harvested bears for many years; at one point I guided American hunters for bears. As I got older I drifted away from it, but
hunting bears never left my mind. I longed for the experience of seeing that bear sneak into the bait. Thankfully I found Wild North Outfitters. WOW, I have never seen a bear camp so professionally ran. Nick puts his whole heart and soul into getting a bear for his hunters and his mother Tina and wife Stephanie work tirelessly to put meals on the table that rival 5 star restaurants. From the cosy cabins to the refreshingly clean washrooms and shower facilities, the kitchen and meeting area to the bait setup, every need is fullfilled. And the bears, the bears are there. Nick has a very high success rate for his hunters and it is because he works so hard to present the hunter with the experience and shot of a lifetime. I have hunted there the last 5 years and every year is better than the last. Yes, I am going back next spring too as many of his clients are return hunters. If you want a getaway holiday that is top notch food, companionship and of course bears, you will be amazed as I was with my new friends at Wild North Outfitters.

I have been hunting 4 separate time with Nick since 2017. Friends on mine invited me on a bear hunt. They had picked Nick first because of his honesty with them. After being in camp and hunting it became apparent how hard Nick and his crew work to make your week successful and enjoyable. Yes , I do go up hoping to shoot a bear but if that doesn’t happen I am never disappointed in my trip. I have made great friends with Nick and his family and enjoy their company as much as the hunt. Nick and has staff magicians are truly second to none. They really make dreams come true. Weather it's harvesting a bear, deer or moose or just spending time with Nick and his family, your time at Wild North Outfitters will be nothing short of Extraordinary.
A little about the host. Nick's unwavering dedication to the success of each and every hurter is unmatched in my humble opinion. Nick's unwavering commitment to bait sight selection and making sure that none are overhunted and ready for the next season. The positive outlook from the staff as a whole is contagious and really helps even when the hunting days get low and the bears don't want to cooperate.
Let me say something about the amazing food! The ladies that prepare the meals really cook from the soul and put there heart in each meal, from pan cakes with local maple syrup to spaghetti and meatballs. You will not go hungry during your stay. While gathering with the members of the camp for every meal you really form a bond, and by weeks end you feel as if you're saying good bye to your family back home.
