Our Story
How it all began..
Wild North Outfitters began in 2008 with a leap of faith, a passion for the outdoors, and a dream that seemed much bigger than the resources we had at the time.
At just 20 years old, I purchased the business from Ken Parker, who had successfully operated Parker's Guiding Services for many years. While I was excited about the opportunity, the reality was that I had absolutely no guiding experience and much to learn about the outfitting industry.
What started as a small operation has grown into something far greater than I ever imagined. Through hard work, perseverance, and the support of incredible people, Wild North Outfitters has evolved into a destination where guests can experience the beauty of the Canadian wilderness while creating memories that last a lifetime.
The success of Wild North Outfitters has never been the result of one person alone. My mother, Tina, has been there every step of the way, providing unwavering support and helping
build the foundation of our business. My wife, Stephanie and Charlotte has become an essential part of the experience as well with our guests enjoy, preparing the amazing home-cooked meals that have become a highlight of so many trips. Team members like Jim, Ricky, Gary, along with many others over the years, have contributed their hard work, dedication, and passion to make Wild North Outfitters what it is today.
Most importantly, we are grateful to the many guests who have trusted us with their hunting and outdoor adventures. Many have become lifelong friends and have returned year after year, helping us grow into the operation we are today.
Looking back, it is incredible to think that a 20-year-old with no guiding experience could have built something so special. We are proud of how far we've come, but even more excited about the future as we continue to prov
