2021 Spring BEAR HUNT
The 2021 Ontario spring black bear season was unlike any other.
Due to ongoing COVID-19 travel restrictions, we were only able to host a small group of four hunters. While camp was quieter than usual, the enthusiasm and excitement were just as strong as ever.
The bears cooperated, our preparation paid off, and every hunter had a successful hunt.
By the end of the week, we were proud to finish with a 100% success rate, with all 4 of 4 hunters harvesting black bears.
After everything the previous year had brought, it was great to once again hear stories around the dinner table, spend time in the woods, and see camp come back to life—even if only on a smaller scale.

We're already looking forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting Ontario spring black bear hunt next year.
